Not having him by your side to celebrate the important occasions such as Christmas or even Valentine’s Day with you. Would you still love a man who time travels? I personally feel that this movie is very intriguing because even in normal relationships there are many obstacles. I just simply cannot imagine having tea with my love and the next minute he vanishes right in front of me. I don’t think I would be able to manage a relationship like this. This movie is for people who are not really into time travelling because it is not a sci-fi specific of its premise. It focuses more on the emotional impact on Henry (Eric Bana) who spends his life jumping through time. Henry’s life is one of constant nudity because he cannot take his clothes with him when he time travels. He is the sole survivor of a car crash which killed his family. No matter how he tried to go back to his past to change it, he never did succeed. Then he met Clare (Rachel McAdams), the woman of his life who actually remains together with him even though she never knows when they will be seperated. This is a sad but satisfyingly romantic tale of two people whose love is a slave to the cruel whims of unpredictable chance. Grab a box of Kleenex and drown happily in star-crossed sentiment.
